Correction or regulation of oneself for the sake of improvement, serves to hold together parts or elements that exist or function as a unit. Self-discipline is my lynchpin.
Without it, no matter how remarkable the elements (skill set, gifts, education, opportunity, resources), there can never be a functioning whole.

Any time I use the word “awesome” I think of my grandmother. There was a chair in her kitchen that was stationed by the window. The old doctor’s mansion turned funeral home had a clear view to lower Manhattan and the Twin Towers.
